How secure is my data?

We have worked with several medical professionals and we understand the sensitive nature of personal health information. EHRflow has the latest in security features: password authentication, SSL encryption, automatic logout, and is hosted in a secure facility.

Does my whole clinic need to purchase EHRflow?

No. You may decide that you want to try EHRflow as an individual to track your own schedule and client information. EHRflow is designed to handle multiple providers, but it will work for an individual as well.

Do I need to purchase any additional hardware or software?

No, your monthly subscription fee is the only cost. If you have a computer with an internet connection, you can use EHRflow. If you wish, you may purchase a card swiper so that you can sign up patients more easily by swiping their Health Card. However, this is not essential to the functioning of EHRflow.

You will need to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader to use some of our forms. You can download a free copy from the Adobe website.

Why does it cost so much?

EHRflow monthly fees are comparable to other EHRs. Aside from the product itself, your fee includes regular updates and technical support. We are constantly improving our product, which takes time and money. If you notice any problems with the system or if you have suggestions for new features, please use our support ticketing system and provide us with the details, we are happy to add them to future releases of EHRflow. We typically update EHRflow every four to six weeks with new features, bug fixes, performance enhancements and more.

If you have a question about a submitted feature request or what’s included in an upcoming release, please email The Roadmap & Updates page lists some of the larger items planned for upcoming releases and shows past updates.

What if I need support?

Please submit a support ticket. We are constantly monitoring our support email, so you will get a prompt response with an ETA for a fix.

What happens to my data if I want to switch to another EHR?

If you decide that EHRflow is not for you, we will export your data free of charge.

Can I use EHRflow on a tablet or mobile device?

Yes, most of the functionality of EHRflow is available on mobile devices and we are working to improve the mobile experience.

When I try to print a letter from my browser, the date and time and website url print in the header/footer of every page. How Do I Print Properly Formatted Letters?

If using Firefox:

  1. Go to the hamburger icon menu in the top right corner of the browser, click on it to see the dropdown menu
  2. Click on the print icon (first icon in the second row)
  3. You will see a print preview window. In the top left corner, the second button should say "Page Setup...", click on it
  4. A small popup will appear. It will have two tabs. Click on the "Margins & Header / Footer" tab
  5. There will be options for what you want to appear in the header and footer. Set all dropdowns to "--blank--"
  6. That should fix your problem. You may need to restart your browser.

If using IE:

  1. In the top right corner of the browser, click on the gear icon.
  2. Drop down menu will appear. Select "Print" from the menu (first menu option); select "Page Setup..." (last option on the list)
